On its Web site, blamed its financial condition for its inability to handout refunds. The companu shut down its lanes at Orlando Internationao Airport and other airporta on Monday night because it failed to come to termse with amajor creditor. New York-based Verifie Identity Pass said earlier this weekit “has been unablew to negotiate an agreement with its seniotr creditor to continue operations.” Clear members paid up to $199 for an annualk membership for access to designated security lanes at participating airportsa nationwide. Members provided biometric data, which was encoded on a for the promise of a speediert and convenient trip through airport security.
In other company news, Verified Identity Pass said applicanf and member data is currently secured in accordance withthe ’s Privacy and Compliance Standards. It said it will continue to secure such information and will take appropriate stepa to deletethe information.
