The asphalt terminals, owned by Tulsa, Okla.-base , are located in Saginaw, Texas; Gloucestefr City, N.J.; and Newport News, Va. Financial terms of the lease s werenot released. The new terminal are expected toadd 1.5 milliomn barrels of storage capacity to NuStar’as asphalt operations. “We’re excited to reachn this agreement with SemGroup as it will give us the opportunitty to generate additional sales from the asphalt produces at ourPaulsboro (N.J.) and Savannah refineries,” says Curt NuStar president and CEO.
“It’s also beneficiao to our customers because they will have greatedr access to a wide variety of locations and San Antonio-based NuStar Energy (NYSE: NS) owns and operates 8,491 miles of pipeline, 82 terminal facilities, four crud oil storage tank facilities and two asphal refineries with a combined throughput capacity of 104,00p0 barrels per day. It is one of the largest asphalt refiners and marketers inthe U.S. and the second larges independent liquids terminal operator inthe nation. NuStaf has operations in the United States, the Netherlands Canada, Mexico, the Netherlands and the Uniteds Kingdom.
